Motel and Guest House
Our bayside wing was the first motel accommodation to be opened on Kangaroo Island. It has been upgraded over the years to provide comfortable accommodation to the standard of a good resort motel.
Seaview's Guesthouse has a very large verandah with plenty of seating and all guests are welcome to make themselves comfortable while enjoying the views. It's the perfect place for morning coffee or an afternoon beverage!

- All guests can use the Free Gas BBQ located under shelter in the Guesthouse courtyard.

Oceanview Motel Units
Enjoy the spectacular views over Nepean Bay with direct door access onto seafront verandah and parking right outside your unit.
Each room includes a queen size and single bed, kitchen sink, bar fridge, remote colour T.V, direct dial phone, personal computer outlet, toaster, kettle, tea and coffee provisions, iron and ironing board, ensuite with shower, toilet, hairdryer, and vanity sink with large mirrors.
All beds have electric blankets and rooms are heated and cooled with individually controlled reverse cycle airconditioning units.
Gardenview Motel Units
are also available with queen and 1 or 2 single beds for families.
These units a little more sheltered from the winds off the water in the winter and direct sun in summer. We are on a corner block so bay views can be seen from end garden units over the garden area.
There is some shaded outdoor table settings outside these units with parking close to unit.
Of course you are always most welcome to use the tables and seating areas on the Guesthouse seafront verandah to enjoy some views across the bay.
Tariff is the same as Oceanview, all same facilities.
"Matthew Flinders" Family Suite
located upstairs (great views!) with 2 bedrooms separate to living areas.
The main bedroom with a queen size bed overlooks the bay and tidal pool while the second smaller bedroom has a single bed and a set of bunk beds.
The fully equipped kitchen has a breakfast bar overlooking the dining table and lounge with the views continuing over the Kingscote jetty and back towards the mainland.
The bathroom has a walk through vanity area separate to the shower and toilet.
Other facilities include bar fridge, remote colour T.V, DVD player, direct dial phone, personal computer outlet, tea and coffee provisions, iron and ironing board, toilet, hairdryer, and reverse cycle airconditioning, ceiling fans and electric blankets.
"Baudin" Bayside Deluxe Suite
Baudin Suite is on the ocean side of the motel also making the most of those fabulous views over Nepean Bay! There is also an outdoor table setting on the seafront verandah with parking directly in front of the suite.
This is a very large open plan room including spacious lounge area with large remote colour TV, DVD player, dining table by the floor to ceiling windows, queen size bed with 2 single beds on the opposite side of the room and SPA bath/shower in the ensuite.
This suite has a microwave as well as the usual facilities, bar fridge, direct dial phone, personal computer outlet, toaster, kettle, tea and coffee provisions, iron and ironing board, ensuite with shower, toilet, hairdryer, and vanity sink with large mirrors.
All beds have electric blankets and rooms are heated and cooled with an individually controlled reverse cycle airconditioning unit.
Guest House
These rooms are located in the original stone guesthouse built in 1927 from local limestone found around Kingscote. Enjoy old world charm in this classic building with front position on our seafront block and views from all bedroom windows.
Your bedroom can have up to a queen with single bed or bunk bed, bar fridge, remote colour T.V, toaster, kettle and tea and coffee provisions. All bed and bathroom linen is supplied and your room is serviced every day too!
The walls are made of thick stone and with high ceiling this building stays nice and cool even in the middle of summer. Free standing fans are supplied, but there is always a lovely cool sea breeze to enjoy through opening windows too!
There is also a Guest Lounge with extra TV. and a microwave for all to use in the Guesthouse.
While each bedroom has it's own private hand basin, large mirror and vanity area in the room, there is no ensuite.
The bathrooms are a shared facility, located just out the end of the hall, tranquil courtyard joining bathrooms and Guesthouse is fully undercover and under main roof.
Male and female separate, 2 showers and 2 toilets in each with 2 hand basins and hairdryer. Bath available in female bathroom.
There are only 4 guesthouse rooms in total so not a lot of people are using these bathrooms and you might even have the place to yourself if staying outside holiday periods!
Breakfast
Breakfast is served in our lovely seafront dining room located in the Guesthouse.
Our self serve buffet includes toasts, spreads, cereals, fruit, and juices.
Cooked Breakfast can also be ordered on the day in the dining room.
If you have an early departure we can deliver a breakfast tray to your room the prior evening.

- Guesthouse Rooms rates do not include breakfast, but is still available as an optional extra.
